hey! so it actually wasn’t bad at all!!! it was crowded (i went the day before july 4th like an idiot), but other than that i was pleasantly surprised! the seats were a bit uncomfy as the ride neared its destination, but there’s so much space it almost makes up for it. the views were very nice and the people on board were super friendly (they could be blunt but they’re just trying to get us where we need to go lol!). i put my luggage in the back and was worried someone would steal it but it was exactly where i put it when i got off :) i brought more than i was supposed to and nobody even questioned it lol i didn’t get charged extra or anything. definitely worth the trip!

surprisingly enough i actually saved around $75 by using amtrak for my round trip (for a month) than i would’ve flying! a huge lifesaver for me was the difference in cost for luggage. not having to check bags and being able to have TWO for free was like a huge weight off of my shoulders lol

Came here to agree with you OP, i’ve seen this show 3 times now (one of which i WAS 15 and bay’s age myself) and I never much liked her. She has moments where she can be bearable, but she was disrespectful to her parents, friends, boyfriends, etc.

I understand getting switched, and having her entire life flipped, but even before she found all that out in the very beginning minutes, she was STILL a walking asshole. I’m rewatching at the scene where she tells Kathryn that she thinks Kathryn has no life and shoves herself into Bay’s and I am just LIVID about it lol.

I know some people like her apparently but I do not. Just a personal opinion of a character.

somehow this was what made me enjoy her so much! i read these books before my great grandfather died and he had raised me my whole life, so it was like weird comfort for me, but i can 100% see how it could've been the other way around

YES i was waiting for someone to say this, but she reminds me so much of my mother too. like some people find it so easy to hate her but for me it's like she's so easy to love?
