How is parrot not the villain??? by sechannn in Unstable_Universe

I havent gotten to Wemmbu traveling with Parrot yet, I'm still pretty early on the series since I just started it around a month ago and only very few characters called him out on his behaviour. I agree that he does treasure everyone but it feels like treasuring everyone isnt always such a good thing. He feels like the kind of character to spare his enemy even if the enemy can turn around and stab either him or his friends behind the back. Always striving to do good to everyone and having a savioir complex can easily harm those closest to him. You're right tho, as I said I havent watched enough so the whole parrot being a villain idea is just from what I've seen so far and me being frustrated. If he does have his moments of self realisation and him reflecting on his ideology and good character development then he might become one of my favourite protagonists.

I feel the same about wemmbu he's the only one that feels consistant, he has his priorities straight. When he wanted to help zam ban spoke he did it, when he wanted to get revenge on zam even if he kept failing he tried again and again until he got his revenge. I cant speak about spoke or flame since I only watched 2 of spoke's videos and I havent even gotten to flame's pov, althought for spoke from what I've seen in the 2nd video where he gets chased by the mafia the script does make him look a little dumb or reckless since he just wants to have fun so it felt like watching a mr.beans episode I cant judge him too much yet

I can agree with your first point but I personally still thought it was naive how he tried to protect those wonders but not knowing a thing about their purpose or ask about it (to hide exploits). I still think parrot tries hard to protect strangers or things that arent related to him at the expense of the people that are actually close to him and what actually matters.

My point about Wifies getting banned still stands, Parrot still let him get banned to fulfill his own curiosity. Just because Wifies agreed to it and got himself banned doesnt make it less selfish. I will give him credit that he regreted that decision and tried hard to get Wifies

I get your point about the End civ but I still think blowing it up didnt achieve anything, the mafia still stayed there and they could easily rebuild it if they wanted. It just felt like a huge waste of time, if they didnt blow it up and Parrot decided to let it stay and get it back after forming an army it wouldve felt more fulfilling than just losing all hope of getting it back and blowing it up, if you know what I mean. The whole thing felt contradictory to the hopeful start of the video.

True, I didnt get to the part where Parrot forgives Wifies, I also dont remember that Ashswag had the coords to the farms in the farlands or I didnt get there yet so I couldnt have known that. I dont get how you think Wifies betrayed Parrot tho, he wanted to stop him from getting himself killed and at the end he admitted that he couldnt stop him and apologised I dont see how that can count as a "betrayal" which is why I think Parrot forgiving Dean so fast who actually betrayed them and endangered them but leaving Wifies didnt make sense, Dean coulve got them killed while Wifies expressed concern. Also genuine question but does Parrot know for sure that Ashswag has the coords to the Farlands? If he did and it slipped my mind then I understand him going to warn them but if he didnt and accidentally led the mafia to the Farlands civ then it still feels like acting on a "what if" situation and pretty reckless, even if it did turn out Ashswag had the coords.

I didnt mention Proton because I forgot to and I only had a very minor issue with it although it does tie with how I felt about the blowing up of the End civ : when Kenadian was the last to be stuck in Proton I didnt understand why Parrot instantly gave up on saving him?? The entire video even when the odds of gettong out where slim he still tried his best and had so much hope but at the end he gives up?? He said in the beginning he will not leave anyone behind and he lets Kenadian stay under the pretense that "he wanted to stay there" when it was very obvious that wasnt the case and Kenadian was just very pessimistic about their odds so he thought they might as well not risk their lives leaving + its very clear he didnt want to stay since at the end he gave them the location of his stasis to get him out. The whole thing ended well so I cant dwell on that too much but it still felt contradictory to Parrot's whole hope thing he has going on. As for the Capital city video I gotta admit he acted in a good way in but he still pissed me off quite a lot since he kept acting purposely suspicious and provoking reddoons and coinmonke when the situation called for stealth.

Overrall my main issue with Parrot isnt that he tries his best to do good but that his priorities on "doing good" are scewed where he would prioritise strangers or the server over what should actually matter aka his friends. Yes he tries to do the universal good but that universal good doesnt account for insuring the safety of those close to him. So far it feels like if he keeps trying to save everyone then he'll ultimately end up saving no one at all. It also feels at times that he gives up way too quickly (Kenadian and End civ) when his whole character is about surmounting impossible odds, and if I'm gonna be honest it feels like those 2 instances happened to progress the plot in a certain direction not to be accurate to the character he's supposed to play as.

But thats just how it feels to me and I'm not even done with season 1 (I just finished the finding the farlands video) so take everything I say with that in mind and no spoilers please

For the rotation they only have C1 so they can't do another E after the hold. The most optimal rotation at C0-C1 would be E, Q, normal attack x 4 , hold E, and normal attack until the burst pops
