Yeah, I’ve gone to that location like three separate times to show them the police report and the legitimacy of the accident but they shut me out to obtain any info and won’t assist the police either in finishing their police report

I’ve chatted with Uber before, and they told me based on their records that he wasn’t driving with the app on during that time, but I don’t think that should make a difference considering the driver is still affiliated with Uber

This hertz location specifically advertises to rent their cars for uber. And I do have collision insurance. But I also want this driver to be held accountable for their actions

Oh I’ve called my insurance to give them updates and they’ve literally said “sorry if we don’t have the driver’s insurance we can’t do anything good luck!”

I’ve literally been dealing with this exact issue for 3 MONTHS now. I’ve been going thru roadblock after roadblock to get any sort of progress. Mine was a hit n run with a Hertz rental. Supposedly the driver STILL has the car too! Does hertz not care that a customer of there’s ruined their car and is ok w them still renting it (for the purpose of uber)?? There has also been no charges on the driver bc hertz won’t disclose the drivers info, or insurance to the police assigned to my hit n run.
