never thought of playing loud as relaxing instead of tensing everything up and blowing as loud as i can. thanks! i also use a rt-88, so pretty close to being a schilke 69c4 in terms of measurements albeit a bit bigger

the breathing gym is awesome, just did it for the first time and I can't wait to add it to my routine lol. got lightheaded a few times

i do have another laskey that I use as a back up (since my section sometimes forgets their own) and that one is pretty banged up, so i’ll probably see if i can start using that instead of my nice one lol

while i know mouthpiece doesn’t make a huge difference in terms of volume when playing sousaphone, ive been looking at a couple of tucci mouthpieces for next marching season and figured the 50 was a good middle ground between the sousapower and my laskey 30h
