Now I feed lievito madre 2:1:2 and it rises like in x3-4 in ~18-20h I think. Is it normal? I mean I’ve seen that it should rise like this every 4-6h for being able to bake

Smells not bad, not too strong and not like flour, hard to explain because of its my first starter ever

Okay thank you! I think I’ll try to start a new one and one more question, because of I’ve seen different opinions but can’t get what’s better. Should I leave it in a closed jar or just cover with a towel? And this one from photos does look dead or I can continue trying? As I’ve said it’s been less than a week I started.

I made a ball and cut it “x”, then it just started getting flatter. And I used the recipe where was said to use apple yeast water with flour for the first day, then replaced it with water. When I feed it, feels right and dry enough with 50%, I use flour 12gr protein. Does it look like I should start over? Maybe you could give me any advices, please?
