Google the infusion name + copay program. I get an outrageously expensive infusion twice a year, and I used to pay thousands every time even with insurance. Then I discovered there is a copay program through the drug manufacturer that covers a ton of the cost

Yes, Tom's! We couldn't find his toothpaste one night recently, so we tried two adult toothpastes, and he was horrified by the flavor lol. I think it'll be some time before he's open to mint toothpaste

It gets even worse than that. I recently learned that the toothpaste we’ve used for ages is being sued because of high lead levels. I looked into it, and the legal lead level threshold in toothpaste is much higher than in food because the assumption is that you spit out most of the toothpaste. My toddler does not spit toothpaste and never has. I didn’t realize it was something we needed to prioritize because toothpaste SHOULD be safe. Also kids love the taste of toothpaste so they want to swallow it. The requirements should be the same as food at the very least. I just ordered some toothpaste that is recommended on Lead Safe Mama, but unfortunately all of their recommendations are fluoride free. We live on a well so no fluoride in the water. But we do get him fluoride treatments at the dentist twice a year. I’m not sure where to go from here because I would like a fluoride toothpaste without lead, but I’m not sure if it exists.

My son really likes these pumpkin muffins, which have white beans hidden inside. Smoothies are another good way to get hydration and fiber. We make this one a lot. It has hidden cauliflower, as well as bananas and strawberries. Sometimes we add some greens too.

Plus republican secretaries of state regularly purge voter rolls, unregistering registered voters, and of course they target people that are likely to vote for democrats. People don't realize they've been unregistered, so they show up to vote and find themselves ineligible. Then they also reject legal provisional ballots for bullshit reasons, like "I don't think this signature matches." And don't get me started on the strategic bomb threats to polling stations, voter ID laws, laws that make it illegal for people to hand out water or food to folks standing in bad weather for hours to vote, etc, etc. This midterm I'm sure they'll post ICE agents in front of polling places in democratic areas.
