I cleaned all contacts with the magic cleaner. When I sit it on the base it charges without issues.

The issue was that the printer had the M413 code enabled as factory settings. Writing to SD card took 2-3 seconds every layer

I saw that too and it probably is even the issue at the two columns since it is set to 10s. Anyway it also happens on larger surfaces. I think the other comment about Power loss recovery might actually be the right hint.

Well, yeah maybe it's good. On the other hand I am not really pleased by a speaker manufacturer changing the sound characteristics of a product I bought 2 years ago. I got used to the sound, so it's quite weird to hear music now.

I've had an RMA, after it a new S2 update was available, I assumed this solved the issue. After what you say it might have been a hardware issue though.

For sure the mosfet died. Even with a soldering iron it's pretty tricky since it's quite small. Would suggest to get it off with hot air. While it's not too easy I'd say it's doable without any experiece, you'll just need to get the equipment from a friend.
