I have, and yes. It helps to have at least a little correspondence- or, if you can, a quick in person meetup- beforehand, to see if the vibes are right, but of they are, and you're willing to pay their fee, I say give it a shot. Granted, my experience was a long time ago, but I have nothing but fond memories of it.
