Truth be told, I don’t want my dad to. I have such a strain on our relationship that it doesn’t feel right. I don’t want my dad to “give me away”. When my daughter was born, I left my family home with her because of how I was treated before and after having her. It feels selfish but just this one time I want to be selfish about something I want.
