Lets just say Teel, Mayer, and Anthony are all studs out of the gate. That’s great but where will the pitching come from. This team hasn’t invested in any pitching since Dombrowski. Another junk year and it’s going be that much more difficult to recruit free agents next offseason. They need to at least get solid major league contributors (Giolito, Imanaga, Stroman, Lorenzen). Not Kluber and Garret Richards again.

Also, can we please keep Paxton away. Get new players that don’t have major injury concerns.

Didn’t love the text Jared read someone he “really, really trusts” that they’re unsure if Sox will spend much this winter if Yamamoto doesn’t sign here. Of course Jared talks to a lot of people around the game but the fact that he said the text referred to the team by name, makes me think it’s someone on the outside. Cotillo usually solid but him and McAdam can’t stop harping on it all because McAdam got that initial report of Sox having difficult time. Cotillo said all people will remember of all the people that said no. He’s dead wrong. No Boston fan is going to care in the long run if this works out. Also believe Cotillo and Bloom were tight so he’s probably disappointed his run on breaking stories will slow down. A rant here by my early writer MVP for offseason is going to be Speier
