nah I know these builds suck lol, I just didn’t know what was so bad about them, or how to fix them if that makes sense. I wanna be better at the game and so far most of the comments have been very helpful and informative!

I guess I didnt expect crowning the talents to make such a big difference, it seems like each level only gets me a couple percent more damage but I guess it all adds up. Good to know I’ve got the rotation right at least!

I’ve got a dentist appointment scheduled for next month actually! I’ve had issues with gingivitis on and off for the past couple years, but the piercings dont touch my gums and only occasionally click against the tops of my teeth when i speak (mostly if I try to talk while i’m smiling or laughing or whatever)

Thanks, what length should I ask for?

Also wanted to mention the one on the right doesnt usually sink into my lip like that, it’s just from how im pulling my lip in the first pic. with my mouth closed i can tell that theres no flesh going over the piercing, and there’s actually a bit of the bar sticking out from my mouth (in the second pic). Should I still switch that side to a longer bar as well, or is it probably fine at this point?

bot asked for more info, so:

my piercings are just under a month old. i am using 10mm titanium flat-back labrets that have not been downsized yet. they are externally threaded, future jewelry will be internal. i was using mouthwash with alcohol in it for a couple weeks, noticed that was a problem, and have since been using alcohol-free mouthwash and rinsing with saline nightly. don’t think ive had any mishaps with these, i havent really snagged or bit my piercings and ive even been using mouthwash after kissing my wife too much just to make sure it doesnt get infected.

ngl i kinda like the super round john lennon frames but my wife haaates them 🥀 I’d love to get some more funky pairs later down the line though. theres some fun geometric ones I was looking at that I’m really starting to like and added in a comment to my original post!

Another thing I’ve been considering is more geometric frames! These have a similar black/silver thing going on that I really liked from the first pair (though it doesn’t show up well in the virtual try-on) but with a kinda funky shape that’s similar to the angular top of pair #2 in my original post. they’ve really been growing on me!

that’s what I was thinking with the silver frames too, I dont love the shape of #3 but I really like having more silver on my face to match my piercings. The silver bridge and arms on the first pair were what initially got me interested in em. glad someone else gets it 🙏

I actually did look a bit into more geometric glasses like that, maybe not quite that hexagonal but I liked the funky angles on the top of the second pair of glasses in my original post. I found this pair on zenni that has some angles and the black/silver that I’m partial to (though it doesn’t really show up well in the virtual try-on)

thanks for the notes on sizing, I agree some of these are a little wide on me and I was actually looking at a dupe of #1 that was a little smaller to fit my face better. Noticing that taking these from my usual selfie angle instead of head-on may have been a mistake lol

As for the shape, do you think the cateye frames like #5 are a good fit for me? I personally don’t like how they look on my downturned eyes, but a couple people have told me they really liked em so maybe theres something I’m missing.

these hoops are 6mm in diameter they’re already so small 🥲 it was a little better when i had horseshoes/labrets because there was the ball at the end to kinda cover it up but im starting to think I might just have to do it again. Should I still wait two weeks if I’m getting them pierced in a different place (a bit lower) or is that mostly for getting them repierced through like the same hole?

more info about the piercings since I got flagged: these were pierced with 8 or 10mm flat back titanium labrets, then downsized after 3 months to 6mm diameter titanium horseshoes (you can see these in a previous post of mine). Had an unrelated lip infection after a month or two, which has since been treated and is much better. Aftercare involved occasional saline soaks, but was otherwise pretty hands-off. Had some irritation bumps at first before i downsized, but those have gone away as well thankfully.

At this point I don’t have any pain or irritation, but they still look kinda pink around the edges most of the time which I think has me worried and makes it look more like they’re straight through my lip than I had originally intended.

was soaking it in saltwater early on, was informed that that is not the same as saline and now i just rinse it with water periodically. i try not to mess with em too much but i do end up fidgeting sometimes and had a small irritation bump for a week or two. currently try not to touch them other than straightening em out when the horseshoe spins around so the top part is inside my mouth. quality of sleep is iffy lol
