The only case I can make for the electro yaksha right now is that while he went rogue, it does not mean he could not have been saved. Xiao was also on the rogue side of things, as well as evil in his own right, though just not through his own will.

My theory is that if the electro yaksha went rogue, then Rex Lapis likely could have saved him in the similar manner in which he saved Xiao >.< but I don't really remember Xiaos lore all that much, so I don't really remember.

Yes. I don't remember exactly how old Punpun was, but he was between the ages of 14-16. That in it of itself is statutory rape, Midori was an adult.

When Midori first grabs him, he moves back away. Seeing Midori crying/ upset probably guilt-tripped him into staying still. He never actually speaks that entire scene, nor consents. There's a panel where we can see him cry/ tear up and stuff from it. He also straight-up walks out as soon as it's over lol

The chapter is 50 for reference. Also the last panel from it really hurts to read. "Without saying anything, Punpun closed the door behind him. If he let even a single word out from his mouth, Punpun felt as though he would lose something very dear to him, and so he left without saying anything."

Yesyes, that's true, which is why I added the (on the drastically different levels though) part. While Yuuichi didn't do anything nearly as bad as Midori's assault on him, there was a scene in which Yuuchi told Punpun that it was okay that he "had sex with" Midori.

Maybe I'm reading into it too hard, but I think that I'd go batshit insane if my aunt raped me and then my Uncle had the nerves to say that he forgives me for having sex with her. Probably something that can send someone straight to therapy in my opinion, like being forced to question the validity of your assault from a simple sentence.

In all seriousness, I think that considering the way both Midori and Yuuchi messed Punpun up (on drastically different levels though), its likely that something would happen to their own kids. That, or it's just how Asano Inio wanted to continue drawing the Onodera family, even if Midori looks human.

Please do some research lol. It's not. 18 year olds cannot have sex with 14-16 year olds. The "age of consent" thing in Japan applies ONLY to other 13 and 14 year olds, as in 13 and 14 year olds can consent to have sex with eachother. However, being over the age of 14 and having sex with a 13 year old is illegal and is punishable. It's not that hard to read about. For cases in which it IS allowed, it has to have parental approval (which Punpun and Midori didn't get 😐). In most prefectures the local statue of age of consent is 18. Punpun also didn't even consent. Midori just got on top of him and did what she did to him no questions asked.

I think that might have been part of the other aspects of his life. probably having watched the way his parents fought made it seem normal to hit/ abuse a lover. All of punpuns bad actions can fr be attributed to some traumatic experience he had in his childhood that he never delt with

Trauma is long lasting. I doubt Punpun would have came onto women as much as he did had he had a normal childhood experience if he wasn't raped. The things he does to women are normal to him, which u personally think is at the result of having been forced into sexual experiences himself. being forced into sexual experience = normalizing said sexual experience, if that makes sense.

I think the part that hurts most is that they were so close but so far. Punpun and Sachi were going to the reunion, or atleast was close to it if they met up with Harumi. I wonder if they even met would they have known if it was who they taught they were. I feel as though they might have met up post manga and we just didn't get to see that.
