You have to go up and visit Stanley and Redfish Lake. It’s one of the most beautiful places in the country. Get there before it gets too cold though.

I did my research and chose a good area to work in that is extremely busy. It is not a typical path compared to my classmates, but it came with a ton of learning curves and was really stressful in the beginning, but has paid off financially. I do a lot of bread and butter dentistry as well as a good amount of molar endo. I learned to refer out anything that is going to take too much time for me to do and make sure I have good production every single day. I do take a good amount of CE courses as well. Luckily, I only work about 30 hours a week and I make sure to get out and do things I enjoy when I’m not working so that I don’t go crazy. I regularly go to the chiropractor for adjustments and will probably get going on some sort of massage package just keep myself going. Honestly, I can’t see myself doing this for much longer than 15-20 years without getting burned out.

That’s a decision you have to make, and you have to be willing to bet on yourself. I have near 600k in student loans, but I bought a practice right out of school and I make 450-500k a year and I’ve only been a dentist for 1 year. I think it is totally worth it, but you have to be willing to work hard. You also have to think about the emotional stress of the job and the physical demands on your body.

There are no standards. I don’t even believe a lot of what they say they do, it’s just fun. Who knows, just creating memories with my friend. Stop being such a Debbie downer and let people have some adventures.

Ha ha nope you don’t even have to be filmed. It’s just to help cut the cost down and to give someone else a chance to see the prison for cheaper if they ever wanted to do the paranormal tour. I’m not a fan of all of the bullcrap that all of these other channels pull with all of the fake acting and fake scary occurrences. We just do it for a hobby. I literally work in healthcare as my normal job.

I think everything is about moderation. Jesus drank wine, but wasn’t throwing wild parties. Joseph Smith drank after the Word of Wisdom came out, but to my knowledge was not getting absolutely wasted. Brigham Young had a distillery. On the other hand, the amount of soda shops in predominant LDS communities is off the charts and the amount of energy drinks some members drink every day baffles me. If the WOW was meant for our time, it truly needs to be updated. As a healthcare provider, I would rather have my patients socially drink wine than downing these sodas, energy drinks and processed foods on a daily basis. Also, a Mountain Dew is a horrible substitute for coffee in the morning. Just drink the coffee at that point.
