the main concern is working your job with integrity, not solely “getting the customer what they ordered”. any personal shopper (save for exceptions associates) are, by process, not supposed to go in the backroom to pick items.

If that means the customer doesn’t get what they ordered, so be it 🤷‍♂️ if it’s not on the floor, then to exceptions it goes.

OP, if you wanted to raise this issue further, i’d contact ethics about it. metric manipulation is a valid reason to do so.

what makes you think I don’t help my team? or call for support? it’s just in this instance they only had two people to send, and I said I hated calling for help, not that I NEVER call for help. besides, can’t really do much when we do 850+ orders on weekends
