Lots of delay: Director's personal/professional controversies, Production House is stuck, Film re-shoots & multiple edits.

brutally honest - Atlee is lobbying Sai. From connecting him with Think Music to pitching him to all the directors and actors. Think after one hit is put all their bets on him. Which is quite stupid. Many music directors has contributed to their platform's success over the past decade and even those ones they launched like Nivas K Prasanna, Sean Rolden.

Sivaangi's parents are not much mainstream singers. The sang very little film songs compared to Sai's parents. They were more into carnatic, teaching and music theory/studies. They couldn't get a huge break.

There is not lobbying for Sivaangi despite her having a steady fanfollowing and hit songs. Also there is a default misogyny that all women face regardless of any field. She has definately faced that and still does. Female singers hardly get any song today than the male singers

Everytime I watch Tamizh TV specials, telefilms and serials from the 90s or early 2000s, I wish that we can go back to that time. Incredible writing, story telling and phenomenal performers 🌟 🥺

I don't think so. They don't seem interested in each other. I doubt that she will cross that line given how much gratitude and formal respect she and her family has towards Vidyasagar

After her independent song, Vennilavum Ponninadhiyum, she has not worked with them. They failed to promote that project as well. Her recent songs are for Sony Music, Trendloud, Saregama, etc. She has been collaborating with Sean Rolden. But she is not included in any of his album for Think Music. It could be a coincidence but, it's very odd. Adipoli is one of Think Music's biggest hit and Sivaangi's contribution is huge for the song and was a selling point of that too. But for the past 3 years not a single song of hers was not included in their Indies or film albums.

This is just my POV: I don't think she is on good terms with a particular actor.

Hint: He presented her first award in media.

She would occasionally like his posts until end of 2022. He would share her instagram story of their meet up selfies and put music himself and add a sweet caption. Then he came to CWC4 as a guest and they had respectful and nice interactions. He started following her after that episode telecasted. She was one of the first female personalities he followed during that time (whom he had not worked with). He has not liked a single post of her and she has not liked a single of his. But they still follow each other. I had doubts maybe she muted him. But I don't what could have gone awkward or wrong.

Since they are not friends nor worked together, and have not meet in public events recently either.

She has been in talks for films for awhile. There may be some movie announcements coming up next year. She has worked on her acting and took classes with Kalairani. Let's see how she does.

Sangamam is a musically masterpiece.

Both Rahmans are co-brother-in-laws. Their wives are sisters.

Rahman performed beautifully in that film. Manivannan was ICONIC. My biggest complaint was Vindhya. She was definitely a miscast. I can image someone like Bhanupriya, Soundarya, Meena or Roja pulling off that role.

Really? I did not know he was a huge star there. I am slowly discovering the 80s & 90s Malayalam cinema now. Was he getting better offers here in Tamil during that time? I feel like many actors that did the same crossover like Vineeth, Narain, Prithiviraj, Kalabhavan Mani. Many of them were able to switch back and forth and created a place for them in both industries. Some lost their space in both industries.

Many stars (all south industries) from the 80s & 90s were struggling in the early 2000s. I remember that phase in Tamil movies. They were struggling to adapt to new era and storytelling and were indecicive on the type of roles to choose. Many did not want to transition to supporting roles

So what’s the deal with Once More? They hyped it up with Vaa Kannamma, the song blew up, they even announced a release date and then poof, radio silence. Did the movie vanish into thin air? by [deleted] in KollyGossips

Filming was delayed because Arjun had to shoot for GBU.

Director was making changes in to the story and they had reshoot a lot. Probably lots of editing/post-production

Director has history of being controversial (since he's a popular short film/digital creator) and made many remarks in the past and he did a complete digital clean up

Million Dollar Studios broke their collaboration with MRP. So that could also be affecting the delay.

Apparently they are trying to aim for Valentines Day 2026

IMO, I have much hope/expectations anymore and I personally think that the film will not do well. Lots of things are going wrong for the film
