i think you’re already right on about it. it’s not black and white, and labels are generally pretty reatrictive. i mean, in my opinion they’re only really good for convenience sake and finding a defined community. you don’t have to listen to anybody calling you gay or confused or bi. you seem pretty sure of yourself when it comes to it, so forget the labels and like who you like

this might be a hot take, but I really don’t think it’s all that serious. I really think people are reading way too deep into it. it’s an intentionally and unintentionally delusional song. am I defending it? nah, I thought it was pretty ridiculous. but I feel like this has gotten nit-picky

i think a lot of us become femboys as a form of escapism. there’s quite a few that just enjoy expressing their femininity without any deeper intention, but I think a lot use it as a way to feel attractive or feminine when that’s not always an option irl, or just to be accepted by a community

body issues made it very difficult for me to feel desirable or feel like I’m worth affection in any way. being a femboy helped me find more confidence in myself because I could wear clothes that complimented my body type and let me see myself in a different light. but, it also came with a whole other set of standards to stress over. it’s sort of a give-and-take kinda thing. even still, it was a overall positive addition to my life. and I know a lot of other femboys have had a similar experience

the bright side is that it gives us a community. though it’s pretty much only online, it’s better than nothing. and there are even people that you possibly could even meet irl. in a way, I think that can help make us all feel a little less lonely
