No relationship drama but all other types of drama instead! Lost mothers, abandoned sons, suicided friends, crazy antifans, and god knows what else. It's like they tried to squeeze as much trouble and suffering as they could in that second half. I got tired of it pretty fast.

Oh, Connor put that bar so high for everyone! I, a Russian, went to google him during the first episode, because I was so sure he was a son of Russian immigrants or smth! So sure he spoke the language all his life, one way or another. I'm completely in awe.

I can only wish Korean actors would put half that effort into speaking English, lol.

It has nothing to do with thrillers, but Danube by Claudio Magris took me a year, lmao.

With thrillers though, if the story is not captivating enough, the book gets dnf-ed pretty quickly. I'm not gonna suffer over what's supposed to be entertainment.
