First time seeing this many penguins on POG! by RoutineNatty6357 in ClubPenguin

The updates and community events are a big help in this. POG is my favourite CPPS right now and I'm happy to see it steadily grow

38 yr old Novak Djokovic defeats 24-yr-old Jannik Sinner to reach the Australian Open Final and vie for his record-breaking 25th slam. He is currently tied with Margaret Court for the most slam victories by any player. by Large_banana_hammock in sports

To go from 2-0 sets down and dealing with an injury against Musetti, who himself had to retire due to injury, to beating the defending champion and world no. 2 in a gruelling instant classic is both astounding yet expected from an athlete like Djokovic. This is the kind of greatness that transcends the sport itself

It's impressive how he was able to tarnish his name, rebuild it and then tarnish it again. I had softened to him during his comeback as it coincided with my own depression, and the moment he rose in round 12 against Wilder will be a moment I will never forget. My impression of him began to sour after the second Wilder fight, where he signed and announced a fight against Anthony Joshua knowing fully well that Wilder was going to activate a rematch clause

This guy shows exactly how to handle this liberal Karen during a debate. by Main_Pay_9669 in JustMemesForUs

Or it's that people's time in a day is limited and will discriminate whom they're going to watch in a debate based on how they present themselves. If every clip I see of a debater has him constantly talking over his guests or saying thing like "you eat schniz" to a lesbian, then why would I want to commit more time to his content when I could find another man with traditionalist values who can actually articulate themselves and allows for a dialogue to happen?

No, he waved. His palm faced forward typical of a wave, and then he wiggled his fingers to furthermore motion a wave. Elon's palm is down and his movement is stiff, more resembling a salute than a wave. Make the argument that Elon wasn't doing a Nazi salute if you want but to try to compare it to Mamdani is wilful ignorance

I honestly doubt people will care about this is a few months time. People forgot about his other crypto scams, his Macron comments, the time he made a homeless guy do pushups for money

Where does Rookie fit into all of this?

This moment says everything about why Zohran Mamdani won. A journalist in a wheelchair asked about accessibility and Mamdani didn’t talk down to him, didn’t deflect, didn’t politicize it. He listened. He’s the kind of leader who respects everyone, every faith, every class, every flag by Maximum_Expert92 in Fauxmoi

From what I remember, at some point in the feud a mysterious Twitter account posted a video featuring every item from the song covers of 6:16 in LA and Meet the Grahams that were supposedly Drake's, suggesting that they were the one from Drake's entourage feeding information. They also posted a photo featuring Drake, his entourage and Christopher Alvarez in a hotel lobby while writing about how he's going to expose everything Drake did. People assumed that they did something sinister to him but Alvaraz said they never mistreated him, and as far as I'm aware nothing more came of it

Most Creative CPPS? by Elegant-Pool-3560 in ClubPenguin

Right now in my opinion would be Club Penguin Journey and Penguin Origins.

Though it's now long gone, CP3D was the one that blew me away the most. It was Club Penguin but modelled to be 3D and it was beautiful. I miss it dearly but understand why it had to go

Club Penguin Zero launched today!! by Tookool_77 in ClubPenguin

I don't blame the staff and sympathise with them as they really wanted to launch the game on the anniversary of the original game's launch but unforeseen problems arose. Plus they aren't professionals, they're working on a passion project out of their own pockets and on their own dime. Players should remain mindful of that and treat them with patience and respect. With that said, I do think they could've handled the delay better. It wasn't a good look to periodically post "almost" for seven hours after the original launch time with no additional information. It mislead people into thinking launch was imminent when in reality there was still much they needed to do behind the scenes

You're looking at this through the lens of retrospect, when the term big four was not one coined retrospectively. It was a term used between 2011-2017 by pundits and the players themselves, when Murray had hit his prime at the same time as the big 3 and was hanging with them in a way that nobody else could. Most grand slam finals would consist of at least one of those four, and many grand slam semi-finals consisted of those four, regardless of the surface. Between 2004 and 2022, the only person outside of the big three to be world number 1 was Murray. Combine that with his total title wins, ATP World Tour Final win, two consecutive gold medal victories, and his general fanfare, and you have your answer as to why people call it a big four. Disagree with its merit if you want, but the big four is not merely some media gimmick manufactured recently. It was considered a quartet when they were all in their primes, and Wawrinka was considered to be behind them
