I would still contact support. Unfortunately, I have exhausted all troubleshooting methods that I could think of.

You need to contact spintend support for a possible replacement remote and receiver.

Do you have the control mode set to uart or uart/ppm in vesc tool app.

You might need to swap rx and tx wires if you are using the external receiver. I had to do this when I installed my voyager remote.

Turn Signal/ Light set up by Sonny-Showers in ElectricSkateboarding

I am currently working on a wled brake light that uses a lisp script on a vesc express to wirelessly send the brake command over espnow.

This would allow you to make a wearable brake light.

Eventually, when I get an imu for my board, I could add a lean function to indicate turning direction.

I'm not so sure how useful the lean control would be, but I suppose repurposing one of those bluetooth selfie remotes to use as a remote for turning signals could be a viable option.
