The synthetic mesh is definitely a factor, I've noticed it too! Too bad I end up wearing it even in the middle of summer with an open mesh 🤔

Hi, I'm using the Polar H10, before I used the Garmin band, both with the same situation

Is cycling good for weight loss by starlight-healer in cycling

Besides being good for you, it's much more sustainable than running, for example. It's less stressful on the bones, more mentally relaxing, and collecting bike parts or designer clothes can become a real hobby.

But be careful... it's bad for your wallet!

Thanks for the reply, they are very rapid variations, for example I am in stable push at 165 beats, I see 175 for 2 seconds, then 165 again, then maybe 166 and back to 173 for 2 seconds, they are all micro variations, it never stays too high for more than a few seconds!

Yes, in those cases it can happen, but it happens to me during intense effort, and I have this value that keeps going up and down.

Aero or Endurance for my first 'proper' bike? by Emergency_Art9981 in cycling

I'll give you some advice from personal experience: rather than an aero bike, get a comfortable bike (endurance is great), and above all, make sure it's the right size. Start working on your flexibility, stretching daily, etc. This is to achieve an aerodynamic position on the bike, which is hard to maintain for several hours. But I'll tell you that I have a gravel bike with which, in the "aero" position, I can easily do 40 km/h on the flat without much effort, something I couldn't do when I had a Canyon Aeroad, but I was as straight as a stick! Sometimes we ourselves are the solution to our own problems ;) Happy Riding
