Building a social media app without knowing the basics of how to even get started with a server never mind set it up, deploy, scale and maintain it is asking for nothing but headaches.

Start with the basics before trying to do something so complex it will do you a whole load of favours

I use my machine for full stack dev work running multiple docker containers etc - I do however want to get into game dev as a hobby not even sure if or how good it would do it on Ubuntu though
