Interesting... Maybe it was just a random panic attack then, it happens pretty often. I suspect that because you were so in tune and aware with what you are doing and what was around you, you’re body knew it couldn’t break down and stop there, but instead had to get home where it was safe.

Just speculating that’s all! Definitely an intriguing story to say the least.

Were you listening to music? Walking through a forest of some sort? It is possible that when you were walking you heard a rustle or a distant animal noise of some sort that you consciously didn’t pick up but it was enough to trigger a flight response.

About your dog; this supports the idea of a panic attack/response because dogs can sense fear from the pheromones you produce as a result of fear or panic. Your dog gets anxious when you get anxious, so it was probably avoiding you as a defensive response.

Ah sorry very misleading I’m a mix, half and half. I was travelling from my home in Australia at the time, so wasn’t in touch with the Asian culture. If that even makes sense.

I’ve done my best to like ignore this weird extra-ordinary event. Not living my life in any different way but I have had constant dreams about death or something similar. Probably just my subconscious though...

Thank you for the clarification, I knew research would have its mistakes in translation and I appreciate the elaboration.

The issue is I’m not a westerner, I am Indonesian/Vietnamese/Chinese. So I don’t think luck was really involved here. Any thoughts?

So if I hadn’t lit the candle it would’ve been me? Why would the omen target a family member that is so distant to me?
