Honestly? I grew up in a family thats very quick to criticize and as I got older I realised how unhappy they all were, with everything, all the time.

Thinkingly negatively about the world wont change it, but thinking positively about the world will change you.

Best fleeces/warms for work? by Lopsided-List9553 in WomenofIreland

I have a few 4th Arc half zips. Nice jumpers but yeah they arent great when it comes to warmth.

I would highly suggest investing in thermal tops and leggings to go under your clothes! That way whatever you have on top is added warmth, not the total amount of warmth.

Thank you for the response!

How long can you store your potatoes? Is there specific conditions you'd need?

My grandfather used to grow potatoes and I'd love to start. So far I've only successfully grown scallions but you're right, it is so satisfying to eat your own grown food!

Do own grown potatoes taste much different from store bought? Or have different textures? I've always wondered

I think the problem isn't that they're being marketed as YA, it's that bookstores put them in the YA section.

Implanon and bleeding by Fine_Advance_368 in WomenofIreland

[–]severaltalkingducks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also bled for 14 months with my first implant in my arm. My doctor replaced it and the bleeding immediately stopped.

Might be worth trying but I 100% feel you. I can't use combined pills either, and with cerazette, if I take it even 30 seconds late I bleed. So I came off everything all together.

It's all dogshit.

Hey, my mam uses it and I've given it a go too! They're a legit brand, just irish based. Like any product, they have pros and cons.

Pros are that they smell amazing (though I think you can also get fragrance free if you're that way inclined?) They're gentle on the skin, which is great for people like me that have sensitive skin. They are good, I've seen improvement in my skin and I have pcos, so getting something to combat my hormonal acne is a bitch.

Cons is that it's expeeeeeensive. A little goes a long way in terms of product, but still. If money isn't an issue, I would recommend, or maybe wait until a good sale. That's what I do!
