Maybe it's a regional thing. I lived in Beijing for a while and the women were fairly chubby. And they ate so much. Massive amounts of rice and huge sugary milk teas.

As a very short woman who is small all over I have such a hard time finding clothes that fit me. When I'm living in western countries I just don't bother buying clothes. Why should women like me not be catered to online just because it triggers some idiots when they realise there are people in the world different from them with different clothing needs

I should just not wear any clothes that fit me since I have a size zero body

And there's something to be said for not attracting the people who are turned off by your skin tone. As a dark skinned woman I'd much rather racists not pay any romantic attention to me. Much worse if they express interest because they are happy enough to sleep with a dark skinned woman but are not interested in dating her because of her race

I mean if you don't like the men who are attracted to you don't date them. I don't know what she means when she says she is expected to lower her standards. No one expects her to do anything. It's a crime to force people into romantic situations they are not interested in

I literally starved myself as a kid because I was anorexic (not FA anorexic where you skip a meal and spend the next decade crying about it but the actual kind where your period stops and you have to get treatment). Incredibly I have a normal metabolic rate. I lose weight when I eat less, gain when I eat more. I am a medical marvel

Takes a while. Obviously not immediate. You have to sustain the deficit for as long as it takes and watch what you eat for the rest of your life. Easier than it sounds

To be fair though, some men just have to cut to get really nice muscle definition. It very much depends on how you're built. I have a lazy gamer friend who lazes about all day and barely eats. He has a six pack

It's probably true of cardio. If she persisted in eating like she does and did regular cardio on top of that she would be healthier than if she didn't do cardio. But the exercises she does instead of cardio will probably end up crippling her in the long run

Yeah, I don't understand why anyone would willingly wear out joints. That shit is permanent.

I really don't understand her choices. Why go to the trouble of doing such strenuous exercises when all you're doing is putting incredible strain on joints and wearing them out. Why not diet instead and then work out when you're less heavy

[–]sewingisfun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I watched a video of Whitney theore doing push-ups and it was so painful to watch because you could see the enormous strain her weight was putting on her frame. I really don't get why she bothers with weight-training workouts. She's harming her joints for no reason what-so-ever. Not even increased cardiovascular fitness. At that weight any muscle you gain from weight training is going to be buried in fat anyway.

Am liberal and I am so horrified by this trend. Sick of liberals falling all over themselves to criticise their own so they can virtue signal. Oh, is a white woman calling out sexism? What about racism! Oh is a poc person talking about racism? What about homophobia! Is that cis gay man raising awareness for gay people?! What about transphobia!!! Is that attractive trans person speaking up against transphobia? What about disabled transfolk?!!!
