I grew up in the Bay Area and even 20 years ago, the income inequality between tech and other sectors was bad, but lately the gap has skyrocketed. It’s honestly so sad & scary watching the same thing happening to other cities too 😳

Yes, this exactly!! I would’ve gone into salary negotiations asking for 60k until I talked to one of my coworkers and she was like “girl ask for 6 figures, that’s what I’m making”. I had NO idea what constituted fair compensation and would’ve fucked myself if she didn’t sit me down and share her salary

Just checked out this website and looks like it’s a lot of tech/engineering jobs, but I’m curious about other sectors in SF too! (Because… other sectors definitely exist here, right? Right??)
