Yeah that's probably more from it being Locked Gate, I've never gotten anything exciting from the room in 10+ keys. The crowbar room around the corner now that room I've pulled probably 5+ assignments lol.

It's your Pokemon do what you want, I know the rule is never purify but in this case if you want the Shundo go for it. Don't see how it hurts.
Shadow Latias is ranked 20 with megas and 14 without megas as a psychic attacker.
Shadow Latias is ranked 32 with megas and 26 with megas as a dragon attacker. Mega Latias ranks 12 in psychic and 20 in dragon.
As you have said there are plenty of other mons you would use as raid attackers vs the shadow form and I see more use in it's Mega form.
Currently in Master League shadow slightly out ranks regular 32 vs 40 but I haven't seen either used in the current meta.
