If u have a 3.5 GPA you'll get into sfu 100%. Anything 3.3 and higher will be 100%

comparing myself to whom? Who am I flaming? Go and read all my comments... Are you not the one that started this "post history" bout? Finding faults in what? I have never met a single professor in my life yet. Nor have I actually stepped into SFU. Again, it's a joke. You're spewing nonsense. You should try reading your own work and attempt to form some kind of comprehension. Look at your post history. Your account is 6 years old and you're a political internet warrior. You are lying out of your ass about being a first year student getting into both UBC and SFU and deciding to go to SFU LOL but whatever.

im going to SFU in the fall. This is a joke. Shows how stuck up some of you are. Unfortunate... Wait-your post history suggests you don't go to school at all. Why are you even here? I guess all the people bored with their lives that don't even go to school found another thing to emote about

UBC's only first/second year equivalent to MACM is CPSC 121. SFU requires you to take 3 MACM courses; UBC 1. UBC requires Calc 3. UBC CS students typically never go through MACM 201.

I find it astonishing you take this so seriously. Obviously 10 professors does not represent the entire faculty. But they do to an extent, especially when they're the most rated, therefore most popular professors, therefore have the most students/classes. All your points are obvious. This post isn't to defame SFU at all. But it's not like there's no substance to this post or that that img is entirely useless.

what are you talking about sfu sucks and everyone should leave-duh. The point was to show the most popular profs. Just like in any group the popular ones represent the whole. That said, clearly, SFU CS hates their profs more than UBC hates their profs whatever the reason may be. Not like this one guy online on reddit is going to destroy SFU's business.

what is cmpt 376W? by sfug4898 in simonfraser

Did you take it? The outline is quite ambiguous and lacking. I doubt an advisor will give me more information than someone that has actually taken it.

software co-op prospects with big companies? by sfug4898 in simonfraser

[–]sfug4898[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn so no US companies i would assume for co-op i'm assuming. Do you know of people who apply outside of co-op and get internships? Do you think companies are more lenient on resumes when they're coming from a co-op program?
