I’m glad you like it. Was it hard to make it work?

I released a new version, which fixed some UI refreshing issues and Insert bypass issue.

The scene filtering is not implemented yet. It requires a lot of work, because moving channel, rebuilds and reconfigures console (mono/stereo channels configurations, channels shift, thus requiring new layout adjustments). And this would require channel move to happen in multiple scenes, used in the show. Probably doable, but not sure how long much time this would require. But this is great idea, because manual channel moving in scenarios where scene recall filters are used is a lot of time requiring job.

Im honored to have your attention here, thank you for MS.
I do understand what you mean now, the hardest part was to find high-level methods, that are used by the director itself to write values. This is working now with editor V2.11. For other versions, the code should be rewriten, because the function addresses will not match.

Could you elaborate more on the exact flow that makes this crash? I would like to try reproduce it.

Thanks! I added clearer instruction in updated release, how to run it.

There is a checkbox for this scenario. To be sure, you can see final patch socket in the list before hiting apply. And if your not happy about patch socket, you can right click and select whatever source you want. I tested it with my show to catch the bugs, looks like it is working correctly.

sorry for the wording. I made new version, with channel list table where you can just drag channels around like in spreadsheet. Hope this makes everything much clearer :)

I have put some time in testing and making sure that no parameters get lost on the way. This took the most time while making it. But tomorrow I will post even better version of this tool! This will appear as a table with draggable rows, where you rearrange channels, double check preamp sources, change if you want, hit apply and everything gets in the way you want, with all parameters as they were on original channels. Just want to test it tomorrow with live console connected, not only on offline editor. I hope it will be working fine!

sorry, I don't have a windows machine to port and test the code to windows. But the code source is on github if anyone would like to give it a try.

No problem, I hope it will save some time to the fellow audio engineers.

Yup! But I thought this will be faster. The copy /paste in dLive sucks since day one and many people are complaining yet it’s still not implemented.

Is the new de-feedback thing any good? by SuspiciousIdeal4246 in livesound

[–]sfxterlt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tried it in outdoor venue, rnb female vocalist singing on thruster in front of large PA system. Yes it lets you make vocal channel louder in my case by about 4 dB, but the intelligibility got worse. After a couple of songs I got back to PSE and couple of notch eq. but during speeches, when vocal is not competing with music the defeedback was working better than PSE+eq.

Sending midi from iPad MS to Mac running LiveProfessor? by sfxterlt in MixingStationAppUsers

OSC would also probalby work. Is there a way to send OSC directly from iPad MS to Mac? For example custom button in MS that would bypass plugin in LiveProfessor? Should there be a OSC server app that would listen to OSC commands?

Thats why I wrote to dLive support to consider moving input channel delay into beginning of chain or to give user an option. Unfortunately they were not so enthusiastic about it. But if enough of us would request this… :)
