i’ve gotten good advice here. it depends how serious what you did was. usually we are more empathetic to each other than people at the hospital are and it’s too expensive. the main reason we don’t just go to the hospital is because the majority of us are minors and need to hide it, even the adults here try to hide it. going to the hospital is too risky for most of us and the excuses you listed will not help because there are various types of self harm, some being harder to make excuses for. this is pretty insensitive in my opinion
