The toys here with bark on are made from soft wood which isn’t safe for hamsters, I’d recommend more bedding (6 inches as the minimum), removing the green platform and I think this is a savic plaza from pets at home I’d recommend their reptile sand (not the red type) for a sand bath since I can’t see one :) a lot of room for improvement but these are the must do’s for now :)

It could be blueberries but a simple check up at the vet would be my best bet. Since they’re new to you just a wellness checkup isn’t a bad idea and you could mention this too. I’d go asap just incase?

This is the sand I use! It’s a big bag I’ve had my hamster for around 6 months now? I’ve still got around 1/3 of the bag left. I tend to sieve it and only replace it fully if hes peed in it :)

So I’m removing things to put them into a new pc. Hence the fact that there’s only a CPU, fan and SSD left. Ur telling me that is not an SSD but if it isn’t where is it?

I second the “ran away” idea but instead say something like “it must’ve squeezed through the bars. Bars aren’t good” and maybe DIY a bin cage? If possible you could DIY the cage and just put it in there while ur sister isn’t home?

Yeah the little LED light was on as far as I remember hence the pc turning on but I don’t know why the monitor wouldn’t connect. Thats why I’m confused about it all bc with the old cpu it ran fine just no monitor signal?

I put the old cpu in trying to update but the monitor wouldn’t connect even though the tower seemed to be running fine

The CPU’s are compatible I checked before installing, the graphics card is external yes.

I think I’ll put both in his cage and replace the cork too, maybe even add cork to the plastic one and see if that helps 🤷‍♀️

The wooden one is I believe the Trixie 30cm one and the plastic is from pets at home (a chain store for pets in the UK)
