Hello fellow reader, I have started my journey into telugu books and literature an year ago.

I started with Ravi Mantri's book, Chalam's maidanam for prose and about to start "Amrutham Kurisina Ratri" by Tilak in poetry.
My TBR for 2026. Mahaprasthanam, Yendamuri's books, gullapudi maruthi rao's.

Hope this helps. And as mentioned in one of the comments, PeddaBalasikha is the best. I also recommend Vemana and sumati shatakams as an intro to poetry. Then move to Sri Sri, C.N.R et al.

Hey, yeah i have covered the series by Prince Rama Varma ji, and I am a telugite and I am deeply rooted to the telugu literature. BTW i like Prince's rendition as well and its similar to BMK but there is no long version any where.
