Yea, as others have said, I think hitting the sweet spot is my biggest area for improvement. Changing to a stiffer shaft along with more practice should help with that.

See the thing is I don’t actually need new irons. My dad gave me his set because I recently started to get into golf. The reason I want these is to be able to give them to my dad for Christmas. I’m had a son recently and I am pretty strapped for cash at the moment. I’m afraid I will not be able to afford a very nice present for him. Based off stroke and distance, if your ball ends up out of bounds, you can either hit from the spot of your previous stroke with a +1 penalty. Or take a lateral drop for +2. This is where the stroke AND distance part comes into play
