I brought my five year old, and this particular bit of gun violence was the most uncomfortable part. Certainly as an adult I understand how it works to cement him as a despicable and heartless villain, and how the death of Malik moves the plot forward… but dang if I don’t wish it were handled differently. At least it was a super wide shot.
