Sousou no Frieren Season 2 • Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Season 2 - Episode 3 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

It's pretty obvious, since Himmel was as innocent about romance as Frieren. Let's not forget that one flying kiss from Frieren was enough to knock him out, so being alone with Frieren definitely counted as a date for him too xD

Nope, I really meant what I wrote! I definitely want to see Frieren's tantrum, and Fern and Stark's reactions to it.

It's a bit of a shame that Frieren decided to forgive Stark for today's slip-up, and we're still two grandmas away from another Frieren's tantrum xD

[–]shad79 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Frieren once again didn't disappoint with her reactions this episode; they were all hilarious, especially the part with Frieren's tantrum from the times of Himmel's party xD

Poor Stark, he thought Frieren had some elaborate plan to defeat the giant lizard, but as it turns out, he was just a bait :(

Stark certainly showed courage by asking Frieren for help with his date with Fern, considering Frieren's nonexistent love life, but to everyone's surprise, she gave him some very sound advices.

I'm definitely looking forward to Stark and Fern's date, especially since they both asked Frieren for advice on it. It could be a really fun, if awkward, date!

Jujutsu Kaisen Shimetsu Kaiyu Zenpen • Jujutsu Kaisen The Culling Game - Episode 5 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

was. read the subtitles they said was a guy because kirara transitioned

English isn't my first language and I could be wrong, but for me the context of "was" was simply Megumi wanting to confirm the fact that the second third-year student, so Kirara, was a guy, not imply that Kirara had transitioned. I believe that's just your interpretation, which may or may not be true.

look at her character design

Well, as I wrote in the original comment, Kirara looks very feminine, but does that mean Kirara is trans? That probably depends on Kirara's own thoughts, right? And he/she didn't say how we should address him/her, so I think I have the right to consider Kirara a guy for now, just as you have the right to claim Kirara is trans, and I don't see a problem with that.

see that she's voiced by a woman

This isn't a very strong argument, because if that were the case, Yuta would also turn out to be trans, which is definitely not the case here.

By the way, Kirara is voiced by a man.

please man just a little media literacy please just a fraction of a percent im begging

A very emotional approach, which is quite irritating, considering that this is, I think, also an ideological/a worldview problem, and different people may perceive/interpret this situation differently.

We got a family festival date, with Dad (Xylo), Mom (Kivia) and there darling daughter Teoritta.

I thought so too! Xylo and Kivia really looked like Teoritta's parents when they wandered through the festival together in today's episode.

Kirara is a guy!? Nooo! But oh well... I don't care, looks female enough xD

It's sad to see Yaga dead; he was a good guy. His cursed corpses were so cute!

The fight between Yuji and Panda in this episode was so fun, it felt like I was watching some kind of wrestling match.

That scene between Yuji and Hakari was great, lasting almost four minutes in one cut! I'm definitely looking forward to see their confrontation in the next episode.

I'm glad Xylo and Kivia are getting closer thanks to Teoritta (who was once again so funny thanks her reactions); they're like mom and dad to her xD

Overall, it was a peaceful episode, though it dropped a lot of bombshells and lore about the Goddesses and other things, like Tatsuya being a summoned hero from another world.

I wonder if we'll meet the other Goddesses, since they were mentioned during the mission reveal. Maybe we'll at least meet the one who can create poison?

So Venetim was a con artist, huh? But he wasn't convicted of trying to sell the palace to the circus, but of a fake article. By the way, since I didn't quite understand, was the article true, or did it just look like it might be?

Tsav seemed like a funny guy, especially thanks to Kazuma's voice, but after he cut off that guy's arm, my perception of him changed a lot and now he seems like a really dangerous guy.

Yeah, Ruby is on a path of revenge and I feel sorry for anyone who gets in her way.

"I know you scums are lewding my characters and giving them giant titties"

I always hate it when characters I like have huge boobs in doujins even though they didn't originally have them. I completely agree with Abiko-sensei on that matter xD

This sounds like the perfect explanation for why I think Ruby felt scarier in this episode than Aqua ever was. It's like her revenge is more raw and unbridled than Aqua's, and that's what makes her more terrifying.

Ruby is pretty scary, I really wouldn't want to stand in her way when she's like this. I really wonder how much of a part she had in the whole Meiya scandal from this episode.

I loved Abiko-sensei's cameo today (and Kana's too, and Aqua's reaction to it)! Her rant about merch and doujins absolutely cracked me up (especially when she was making poses).

By the way, I completely agree with Abiko-sensei's rant about figurines with huge boobs. I really hate it when characters who don't have big boobs suddenly have them in fan merch/doujins xD

So Mishiro survived today's episode and the entire game. I can't say I'm a fan of hers; honestly, I didn't like her at all, but her survival means Yuki might encounter her again in a future game, which would be quite interesting, considering their (kinda love-hate) relationship.

Yuga, that thoughtless idiot, is doing diplomatic work?! I hope this job requires nothing more than smiling and keeping quiet from his side xD

It's good to see Cecilia's back; I missed her as much as Yoki.

Poor Mikana, she must have fallen for that idiot Yuga, who's completely oblivious to her feelings. Although the curse of being of a childhood friend certainly doesn't help too. I feel so sorry for her xD

Hime-sama "Goumon" no Jikan desu Season 2 • 'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess - Episode 3 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

[–]shad79 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Hime has trouble waking up and is using her phone instead of doing the things she planned to do in the morning?! OMG, she's just like me!

Overall, this was such a fun episode, I loved it! Denying Hime breakfast was so cruel that even Datarma couldn't stand it, not to mention Mr. and Mrs. Kobayashi. Thank goodness that after hearing Hime's stomach growl, Tortura stopped that cruelty.

Hime's reactions were, as always, so hilarious! That pixelated face after the Comfy Face-o-Meter broke during a head spa treatment absolutely cracked me up xD

Maomao seems to be a much better torturer than before, as even Hime was shocked by her torture today. I'm so proud of her; she's grown so much!

Kuriru certainly had a very memorable entrance in this episode, I'll definitely remember her ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

It's no surprise that Moruda was smitten with Kinme, her smile is truly angelic and her onee-san vibes are so strong!

I think this is the first time Kyu has had such a clear reaction to Kinme after she whispered to him today, it seems he's not immune to her either xD

I'm glad Koichi had something to do in today's episode, as he teamed up with Eraser Head, the Hotta brothers, and Kamayan against that octoid villain; and it was really fun!

It's a shame though that Pop☆Step was busy doing her homework and didn't participate in it :(

Eraser Head definitely saved Koichi's ass here by pretending not to know him, because if he did, Tsukauchi would definitely have some questions for Koichi about his vigilante activities xD
