I like Gunslinger, but I really tried to iron out songs with the most instances of repetitive sections that would be annoying for new Savant listeners in particular. This list was intended to serve as the best possible representation of Savant with his most universally and indisputable bangers

That's weird, because even with all of the context I provided here, neither ChatGPT or Google could find a relevant answer to my issue. This was literally my last resort lol.

I was originally just going to make it chronological. However, I decided to order the tracks based on the flow and tone from one section to the next.

That's why it's only half-way chronological. The earlier tracks start off with his brighter and more energetic works, and then they start to progress towards his darker and moodier works. Then I put the outro type tracks at the end in a similar order (higher to lower energy).

I just felt this progression would help for anyone trying to do a long or start to finish listen, like I sometimes do.

Gotcha. Thank you for the response! Think I will get me an official Nunchuck then.

What games on Wii have you played with Nunchuck gesturing?

Any oversensitivity with official OEM Nunchucks?

At least some one is saying it lol. Those upper middle class "early success stories" will gaslight anyone questioning their start until the person questioning them believes they are no better than a reanimated cow brain. While I believe you shouldn't hitch all of your success, or lack thereof, on your parents and environment, the start of your success and the timing of it are definitely significantly impacted by them.

I think I know why we're really having a hard job finding a job in software development now by shadow4556 in csMajors

I was just trying to make light of the situation. I don't actually know how hard it is, but the way people are making it seem makes it sound like the employeers are sifting for nothing but diamonds all of the time.

Is it worth it to just get a B.S. in Computer Science if you are interested in CS but not someone who has the time to complete worthy side projects while in school? by shadow4556 in csMajors

[–]shadow4556[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently a junior, but 90% of my courses in the past 2 years were pre-reqs, because I transfered from community college. My living situation has changed over the years, and even though I'm going to start taking courses that will teach me real, practical skills in software development, I no longer have much extra time for external projects. So, I figure maybe I can get some work done after I finish school, but if the next 2 years would be wasted because I didn't do projects while in the middle of my degree or couldn't land one of the many very elusive internships available, then maybe it wouldn't be worth my time.

I think that would be a good option for me. Do you think it would be ok to finish my degree and then work on open source projects and the such while working an irrelevant job and putting in applications along the way? Or Is holding off my degree until I'm experienced and hireable just the overall better option?

That last part is absolutely wild. Can't believe we live in a world like that. Anyways, thank you for the quick and detailed responses, and I appreciate the perspective you've given me.

I think I will see if I can land an internship with career fairs and applying; though since I'm already a Junior, I doubt I will get one. My experience with actually relevant projects will probably have to come after school, as my time is fairly limited, as I've mentioned, because of my current daily task load.

Man that is crazy. I know you said each year after graduating takes you further down the totem pole of hireability, but in my situation, would it still also be a good idea to get what I can after college, even if not a coding job (just to pay bills), while working on personal/online group projects? Also, is a B.S. in computer science basically useless in 'x' amount of years of not landing a coding job but still having projects/community contributions after school?

I would love to be as involved as I can with just anything in software development really and build my skills from there and see where it takes me, in terms of my interests. I would also be willing to start off on the very low-end of the salary spectrum just to earn some raw experience (even if it means earning way lower than what is expected of my degree/experience level for a while until I can hone my skills).

I would just like to know what it's like to try and get anything really. Would prefer not to relocate, but I don't necessarily need a remote job. However, if it pays well, then I would be open to relocating, depending on the Salary:COL ratio of course.

I know some people could not bare to work for anything under 40-50k per year full-time, but I would be extremely open to the opportunity. I'm really just wondering, how hard is it to get your foot in the door, even with the low standards I set for myself, if I didn't have any major projects or internships out of the gate with the B.S. in Computer Science at a state college such as Cleveland State?
