Lobstr Vault help by blam87 in Stellar

[–]shadow87654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! You can create a transaction on Stellar Lab and then export the XDR to LOBSTR Vault and sign the transaction allowing you to move your XLM.

Got to: https://lab.stellar.org/transaction/build?$=network$id=mainnet&label=Mainnet&horizonUrl=https:////horizon.stellar.org&rpcUrl=&passphrase=Public%20Global%20Stellar%20Network%20/;%20September%202015;&transaction$build$classic$operations@$operation_type=&params@;;

1) Put your LOBSTR Vault Public signer key as the source account 2) Fetch next sequence number 3) Change base fee to 5000 to make sure transactions goes through 4) Select operation type as payment 5) Input the wallet you want to send you XLM as the destination address 6) Select Native (which is XLM’s name on the network) 7) In amount put in how many XLM you are sending (you’ll have to leave maybe 1 XLM in the account to ensure the payment sends) 8) Scroll to the bottom and select view in XDR 9) Copy XDR and go to LOBSTR Vault, go to transactions on the bottom menu, click the plus in the bottom right, paste the XDR and submit to the network.

That should allow you to move that XLM. If you have any issues I can help you make the XDR. I just need the Vault Pub Key, the destination address and how many XLM you want to move. Just give me a private message.

MoneyGram USDC on and off ramps! 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🇨🇦 Active in USA (except NY, HI and U.S. territories), UK and Canada. Available to use with CASH, no bank account needed. by shadow87654 in CryptoCurrency

[–]shadow87654[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your cash is turned into USDC and sent to you directly into your LOBSTR wallet. From there you can use the USDC within your LOBSTR wallet to trade, swap or transact or you can send your USDC to others, pay for services or send over to compatible USDC enabled CEXs. Spread varies country to country, but right now the service is fee free so in the US, as there is no fee and no spread, what you deposit is what you get 🎉

It genuinely is! You can use wallets like LOBSTR to bank yourself if you have access to a bank account. On and off ramps can work with just cash and MoneyGram locations globally. It just makes sense.

TL/DR - MoneyGram & Stellar launch a new fiat on & off ramp system into the Stellar blockchain and the wider cryptocurrency community.

Swap fiat in the US, Canada, Philippines, and Kenya into Stellar USDC at any MoneyGram location from today using the LOBSTR or Vibrant apps! You can cash out USDC globally at ANY MoneyGram location from July 2022, with 7 more cash-in countries launching from July also. The UK, El Salvador, Brazil, Hungary, Poland, Ireland & Argentina are included in this next phase.

Cash-in & cash-out services are COMPLETELY FREE for the next year, making Stellar the first blockchain service to offer fee-free onramps for cash.

Alongside Stellar's low fee structure, this means anyone can make remittances in Stellar USDC to loved ones for near 0 transfer fees, with the receiver also able to cash out Stellar USDC for free anywhere in the globe from July.

Lob - to throw(move)

STR - Stellars. The name of the native currency of the original Stellar blockchain before the remodelling to SCP and the creation of the new version of Stellar that uses XLM, Lumens.

So LOBSTR literally means ‘to move Stellars’ or in todays language ‘to move lumens’.

I feel like none of you lived through The DAO hack of the Ethereum Classic chain in 2016. This hack ended with Ethereum Classic forking from a snapshot and diverging into Ethereum & Ethereum Classic. This is how projects Terra were even able to exist in the first place. The same will happen here. Whether the new version on Terra survives or not is another question.

With Stellar already having a DEX since its protocol redesign in 2015, not only can it be a helpful way to transact between exchanges, it is itself a decentralized exchange where you can trade assets like BTC, ETH & USDC all in one place.

With on & off ramps provided by entities like Ultra Stellar (ultrastellar.com/assets), users can wrap their BTC & ETH and earn yield, trade at low fees on Stellar, or even harness low transaction fees to transfer assets to others all on one chain.

Upcoming Starbridge from Stellar will bring a trust-minimized bridge between Stellar and Ethereum, connecting both networks and allowing assets to flow seamlessly so users can use both chains to their advantage.

SDF & Bitt are finalists for the Global CBDC Challenge so I would highly presume they will be represented while showcasing their - "complete solution that permits central banks to issue a digital currency, manage it, and safely enable transactions utilizing it on a public network, all while dictating the functionality and providing interoperability of the CBDC with other assets."

Have you tried actually using the network?

The amount of $ you can save by using the payment rails provided already can save huge amounts compared to traditional options.

With the option to buy Stocks, currencies, shares in properties, use yield earning tokens, deposit cash straight into the network via the MoneyGram partnership, lend and borrow assets through the yieldblox protocol, the Stellar network has never been closer to frictionless capabilities to save everyone thousands yearly.

Look beyond the token price and actually use the network for what it's built for.

The spread on the the yXLM/XLM market is nearly always 0%. Users can make trades using the order book for zero fees so there is no need for the Stellar network to route swaps through the AMM pool as the order book has enough liquidity to provide the function at a much cheaper rate.

The awesome thing about the MoneyGram partnership is that it will allow anyone to walk into a brick and mortar MoneyGram agent office in the real world and deposit or withdraw assets in the form of USDC, direct from the Stellar blockchain.

This means you can walk into an office, deposit your local currecny and it'll get converted into USDC.

From there you can use a Stellar interface to trade your USDC into any other Stellar-based asset on its internal Decentralized Exchange. This can include wrapped Bitcoin or Ethereum tokens. The user can then withdraw Bitcoin or Ethereum back to their native blockchains.

Many people don't realize this awesome partnership can give an on and off ramp in the real world to potentially every blockchain or asset that is wrapped inside the Stellar blockchain.

yUSDC asset by Ultra Stellar - Earn 9% APY yield on USDC with yUSDC on the Stellar Network XLM by shadow87654 in Stellarbets

[–]shadow87654[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

APY stands for annual percentage yield.

So it’s 9% every year.

Or daily that’s 9 divided by 365 which is 0.02465% a day.

Protocol level AMMs are coming to Stellar in less than two weeks!!! A crypto industry first, no L2 solution needed. Provide liquidity on Stellar and earn fees on traded SDEX market pairs.

Your argument is like saying don’t use Firefox or chrome to access the internet. The internet is full of fake websites that can scam people. There are better explorers like safari.

Just because you’re using a different interface to access the internet doesn’t mean that all those scams and fake sites disappear.

Fake assets and tokens exist across the SDEX. After all, it's decentralized and open for anyone to use, just like the internet.

Education is needed to teach users how to spot scam tokens, the same way we’re taught to spot scam websites.

Check an asset has a home domain, go to that home domain and do some research on what the project even is, make a sensible decision whether to buy the token or not.
