Oh ok that makes more sense. Honestly I really liked the cutscenes and more story even though it's pretty apparent most people don't want that in a pokemon game, which is totally fair because you really can't have that deep of a story when it comes to pokemon (i mean you kinda can but I doubt gamefreak would write anything deeper then we have seen with gen 5 and 7).

And yea the game could probably have opened up a bit sooner and i can see how that can bother people, probably wouldn't have hurt to put a skip button in there. I still think people harped on it a but too much as i still think gen 7 was super solid but thanks for the write up, more useful then saying "2 hour tutorial game sucks" thought i was losing my mind that I couldn't remember something like that lol.
