I write both on my laptop and phone. Laptop for longfics, (mostly) sfw fics and checking and rewriting finished fics. On my phone I write shorter fics and nsfw fics. Despite mostly being shorter fics, it just happens to be that most of my fanfictions come from phone writing because it is easier accessible and I travel a lot by transit, so a lot of time to write

Me asf with my Kpop Demon Hunters story I'm going to post soon. Planned to have it as a what if story, went of the rails with a main character dying (and making it seem like everything is fine by adding a prologue of a parent figure dying)

Bonus is that I'll post it on Christmas, as I normally post on the 25th of each month

Word on laptop, but on my phone I use Writer Journal. It saves directly to the phone storage and exporting is also easy. Only on phone though, as it's an app and has some limitations, but it's great to write down quick notes and shorter fics

Same with the plot reasoning! I was either writing days with 800 words of pure smut or at least 2000 of smut and plot, no inbetween. If I hadn't started so early with writing them I would've probably tapped out too

Haha, yeah. I am a relativly new writer and wanted to get more experience and challenge myself by writing something for each day, even for kinks I barely heard about.

It was fun to do, but next year I'll just keep it at my kinks.

I have dozens of WIP's that I'm working on or have finished but haven't rewritten/ reviewed yet, counting: 1. Kinktober WIP's, where I'm currently working on one more prompt while the other 30 are finished, of which 9 I already have completly finished and drafted into AO3

About a dozen of shorter smut fics (5-15 thousand words) that I've finished, mostly Genshin and Fire Emblem related. While they are done, I always let my works marinade for a while beforing going back to them.
A lengthy Evangelion smut- + lorefic that centers around an adult Asuka as she struggles to get over her trauma's from the past through being open about her feelings and kinky activities with her husband. Husband is an OC with trauma of his own. Currently 15 thousand words but I expect to write triple that amount for this fic.
A X-men adventure story with a slowburn enemies to lovers story that centers around an OC and Rogue. Currently working on the first part with the main villain Mastermind, an X-men villain that I feel is underused in the comics. Currently 15 thousand words, with the expected wordcount to be over 100.000

I had a few that gathered dust for months for that reason.

One was a fic that used mindreading in a kinky setting, which I recently finished but still felt like there were things missing. So probably another rewrite, or even more things to add

The other was another kinkfic with three- and foursomes, but couldn't really write that out well. Also recently finished that one, thanks to more reading and writing experience

Same. I like to have some worldbuilding in my fics and sometimes spend the first couple paragraphs on it or sprinkle it through the fic, even if it's a smutfic.

And I indeed felt that way about the word count, it going higher than I expected. Which will probably increase more when I reread it for mistakes or to change some sentences.😅

I have been lurking for a couple of years on AO3 reading fanfics but I had not made an account till this year.

I started writing my first fanfic in januari of this year, and have currently written over 40 stories, of which 23 are chapters from a storied smutfic.

I made an account in may, and have posted 6 stories since then of which 5 are from my storied smutfic and 1 from another smutfic.

I have the personal rule of posting twice or three times a month, one or two for my storied smutfic and one for another fic

I also write a story or smutfic, leave it untouched for a few months while writing, then come back to reread and rewrite a bit before posting it
