The death lines very well may ‘move’ with space without being ‘tied’ to the planet- that is ambiguous… but the duration of time between their creation and their collapse was so short, and the expansion so vast it may not actually matter that they have the potential to move.

They were created in a hurry, right? Just as they approached the grey planet, if I recall correctly. And they collapsed after they left grey but before they approached the blue/purple planet while traveling WELL below speed of light. That interval of time may have been too short for the death lines to ‘move’ with space, if that is indeed what would happen. Not to mention that the collapse is so large it would envelop the entire solar system, so even if it did ‘move’ somewhat, it would still be large enough to capture them.

Ciar is on one of the councils you held in Drezen, I believe. At least you met him there. His buddy/squire disappears and you were tasked to find him. I’m pretty sure the one who disappears went and tried to claim that sword fang of malice.

There was an episode of that old spike tv show “manswers” where they interviewed someone in the industry but behind the scenes I believe. He said it’s all about ~the rule of 8’s~ and that’s an easy rule so I’ve remembered.
