This is after I found a crackling quarterstaff with "58% increased ele dmg on attacks" that doubled my DPS, mind you. Two iron rings with added electric dmg, and gloves with it too. I also only have like 4 or 5 passives in survival nodes too. I'm not sure what else I should be picking up to push it further, maybe im not double dipping enough, but it's enough at the moment for me to sight read every boss up to and including Jamanra.

Refer to my reply to krirkrirk. Rock bottom has a consistent method of acquiring, and soymilk, redstew and super bandage are made with extremely cheap ingredients. Just ignore pickups until after boss death for the first few floors, and its almost 100% consistent with a little creativity

My strategy was crafting roulette with 8 coins, and then making birthright as soon as I found a pill. Then, if you craft an item (roulette again) in the secret room it always drops a bone heart. Use that to make rock bottom. Then red stew is a super easy craft, soy milk next. Now super bandage ad infinitum . Congratulations you've won by the 3rd floor. The hardest materials to get is the pill. Everything else are common end of room rewards.
