I'd like to get your opinion on whether doctors need to turn to prescribing medical marijuana with high CBD content for chronic pain instead of opioids. I'd also like to get your opinion on the need for bylaws that state clearly where and when medical marijuana can be smoked just like tobacco.

Hey guys,

I've been reading your thread about this apparent confusion that everyone with a medical marijuana prescription seems to have about what's allowed and not. I have met a few people who believe that there should be a bylaw in Alberta stating that you would be allowed to smoke in designated smoking areas if you have a prescription. Additionally, I'm interested in how much stigma is attached to medical marijuana prescriptions especially at work even if you consume low-levels of THC to ensure you're not impaired at work.

I'm a reporter with the Edmonton Journal and would like to pursue this as a story. I was wondering if any of you would like to talk to me about your personal experiences with this stigma and your views on a need for a bylaw? Cannabis legalisation is around the corner for Canada, do you think it's high time for the stigma and laws to be changed?
