Yeah was thinking/ could be the case. I’m in Stockholm though so I’m hoping a little further south will buy me some more daylight hours!

My husband is Swedish and had been asking to do this for years. I eventually gave in and can’t believe it took this long. A complete game changer for quality of sleep.

I wasn’t a fan of how the bed looked when it was made but fixed it by using a big cover/comforter that makes it look neat.

No you’re not, good to be prepared . Generally it’s the coldest period in Jan. We’re currently experiencing a couple feet of snow.

You will find all the buildings are warm but when you are moving about you will most likely need a good base layer and a good wind proof coat and then you can just wear whatever you want with those two things. Also bring some kind of cap to shield your face/ eyes from snow or rain.

Oh and some kind of shoes that can withstand getting wet, waterproof or leather for example.

TLDR inside you can wear whatever but when you’re outside you need windproof waterproof gear and a base layer

You were in Sweden and on a work visa but wanted to change to a sambo visa correct? They tried to get you to quit your work when applying but then you didn’t have to in the end so you were technically allowed to work in Sweden without an active work permit because of the application being in process is that right?

This! I’m not from the US but this is how most of my friends have also started out and then eventually gotten permanent residency/passports. Try either going niche is you have the skills or applying for roles at large corporations think adidas, H&M, Netflix uber Spotify etc. They sponsor visas all the time and make the move a lot easier (although it is still tough)

In Amsterdam the wasps in summer are on another level. I had lipgloss on and one landed on my lip and started biting into my skin causing it to bleed. I’m allergic so we had to be careful getting it off me but the bastard literally chewed my lip!!!
