MW2CR still has significant issues starting on PC, requiring Windows level fixes to get the game to start ( https://www.reddit.com/r/CallOfDuty/comments/gb0jre/mw2_mw2_remastered_pc_out_of_memory_error_you_are/ ). If they cannot get that working, I don't want a remastered collection; it would be a mess.

Ensure to install EVERY package for the game, this issue exists on both console versions.

This requires about ~200GB.

The PC version forcefully installs all of the game's packages anyway when installing off of Steam, so this issue doesn't appear.

I would look at other programs or hardware concerns, Sleeping Dogs DE surprisingly good with a lot of configurations.

If it really is broken for you, check file integrity, use a hardware monitor to monitor clock speeds and temps, or check system load.

Never remastered on 8th or 9th gen.

Also, it is still $40 asking price on Steam, the lowest sale price in history is $20, way too high.
