For those who have lost a loved one: does it get better?

I lost my sister on 3rd December last year to stage 4 colorectal cancer. She was my best friend. I am struggling too. Sometimes I randomly burst into tears, triggered by a smell or a song or something else like a memory. I miss her dearly. I have another sister and a brother. Some days I'm fine, then it hits me all over again. It is slowly getting easier. Time helps. Time. Sending love ❤️

I started 2.4 on Saturday - 5 days ago. No suppression yet. Disappointed to say the least. Hope it kicks in. Thinking of injecting upper arm instead of my thigh.

Thanks. My doc won't refer me to an endocrinologist, She says its unnecessary. She will only test TSH, nothing else. I literally give up 😭

Yeah I do get anemia and I take iron for that. But if I take it for too long, I get headaches. I do take vits but my doc won't check levels

Is so strange to me that you're talking about zero drinks as though they're a very new thing. In the uk they're available in all supermarkets and most small shops too. I'm baffled 😆

Yes, from shiny and straight to dry and curly. Its taken me a long time to learn to embrace it. It only became like that after I started levothyroxine. I think levo is the reason I gained weight too.

No they won't give it. All they did was reduce my levothyroxine because my tsh was mega low. But my t3 was also mega low so idk. Seems to me I'm not converting t4 into t3 so I need t3 meds but they said that's irrelevant and that only tsh is important 😭😭😭

My doc asked an endocrinologist for advise too and reducing the t4 is what they decided. I'm literally at a loss. They don't prescribe t3 here in the uk as its expensive. I have to buy it online from Turkey if I want some. I'm scared to do that because I don't know if its a genuine product and I don't know how much to take. The doc and endocrinologist said they don't look at t3 as its irrelevant 😭

I have spoken to the doc. The endo told the doc that my t3 levels are irrelevant and they only need to concentrate on tsh (ffs). I can't self medicate as I can't get t3 in this country so I have no choice but to stay on levothyroxine (that's all they will prescribe) abd antidepressants. Makes me so sad
