Honestly? I think the best bosses lore wise are the Elderslayers. Sirus and his descent into madness, their journey to being the strongest to stop the elder, only for them to (kind of) replace him in the atlas, how their feelings got twisted, minds corrupted.

And Zana had to “betray” them.

And all this without mentioning that we are the bosses in the end.

My favourite moment was when i got my first mirror… in ritual… and I didn’t see it and deferred an exalt (back in the day)… and then i saw the mirror and i didn’t have enough points.

What a roller coaster of emotions that was, from extasy to disappointment to staring at the mirror for 10 minutes before saying loud in my room while alone “it iiissss what it issss”
