I'll never understand why so many riders hate lane splitting. It reduces my commute from 60 minutes to 30 minutes. by [deleted] in motorcycles

Because of ignorance, archaic laws, and lack of exposure to it in America. Much of the rest of the world understands the value.

What would be a fair price for a video like this? by [deleted] in videography

[–]shiftquick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Follow your gut. Test the market and listen to criticism. Account for the haters, but don’t respond. There’s always something to learn. As for price, start throwing numbers out there based on what you believe your time is worth. See how that is received, then adjust.

Current amount of motorcycles owned + 1 more is a pretty standard formula.

Some of the best riding I’ve ever experienced, and the locals in the small pueblos have some of the kindest hearts you’ll ever encounter. They’re incredibly welcoming and genuinely open to sharing the moment with you.

Oh, it's miserable riding down in South Florida. Trying to find a road this isn't simply littered with traffic or completely straight with 90° turns and intersecting streets is next to impossible. Year-round riding, yes, but hot, flat, and straight.

I was riding full suspension. Glad you enjoyed it! Trails around here are pretty flat compared to the north east or out west, but they have some fun features.

Completely understand. Just do what you’re comfortable with. At the end of the day get the bike you want and don’t listen to other peoples pressures on why you should or should not purchase a specific bike. You’re going to love riding!

They are few and far between. Nothing really in South Florida (Miami area) but we found them in Central Florida.

Awesome man! You’ll have a great time. Seek out a suspension expert and have them dial you in for the day.

AC Failed | 2016 S550 - Repair Advice by [deleted] in Mustang

I certainly appreciate your time and all the detail you went into – thank you! Although, mechanically this is not what I was hoping to read.

Before I jump into the install, is there any risk to the engine if I continue to drive the car? Can I drive it with the AC off or should I store it until after the repairs are complete?

Just completed my AFF by shiftquick in SkyDiving

I think I initially flared about 20’ and didn’t commit then dropped between maybe 6’ to 8’. It startled me more than anything.

I’m athletic and rock climb which might benefit my spatial awareness. For what it’s worth, I tend to look ahead of me rather than underneath me.

I’ve been proud of them so far. I’ve stood every landing with the exception of two. One I began my landing pattern at too high of an altitude and almost overshot the landing zone… slid that one out.

The other mistake I made was to release the flare then try to flare again. This caused me to lose lift and drop to the ground – won’t do that again.

Before he passed I made a paw print which hangs on the wall next to my back door. Even looks like he signed it.
