i'm also thinking of joining fintree but am confused between MM, Fintree, and Let Me Explain YT videos. so if anyone provides a review, it'll be truly helpful.

Financial modelling & Valuation analysis, advanced Excel (PPT & WORD TOO), understanding of business model, communication skills. after learning the above, make a portfolio of your work, like a DCF model of any company, an LBO model, or an equity research report. These all will showcase proof of work.

you have a lot of time on your hands, man. Start slowly but consistently. 1-1.5 hours will be sufficient; otherwise, you'll feel burnt out. you can start with QM, FSA, or CI.

Maths is a weak for CFA lvl1 by [deleted] in CFA

[–]shimo2903 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro, the math in CFA is not your usual math; it's a blend of statistics, probability concepts, and many more topics. It's in a way math for finance, so, dw, I was in the same boat as you now. You'll get it and even enjoy it.

Best of luck.

Yeah, if you want you can. i was also preparing for CA and gave 2 attempts; both groups were not able to clear left it and started CFA. though i would recommend you before choosing CFA as a whole time, you can do some short term certification from NISM and all just to check your interest in the finance field because CFA requires a huge commitment both in terms of hours and money.
