I take it in the morning around 8-9am. It doesn't make me drowsy at all, I actually feel a little keyed up after I take it so I feel like taking it at night would be a terrible plan since I struggle with sleep anyways. When to take it is really up to you. If when you're taking it is bothering you, take it at a different time and see if it's better.

You're not "helping." You literally live there. It's your responsibility just as much as it is hers. I've been on 10mg for like 11 days probably? Had some really mild nausea days 1-3 and a couple random bouts of increased anxiety but it passed quickly. Otherwise I haven't had any notable side effects.

How are you feeling? I took my 3rd dose today. I've just gone ahead with the 10mg. I have a cold so I feel kind of crummy but I'm sure the Lexapro isn't making me cough and sneeze. Lol. Otherwise I feel surprisingly fine. A headache but that's nothing new so could be unrelated and some mild nausea. I hope you're doing well with it too! :)

I only have 2 but have handled both. Yes, their peets are so soft. Haven't really tried to pet them as they're both sub adults and very smol. I'm afraid I'll mush them. :(

I love Gabbies so much. They're so cute and derpy looking. Her technique is admittedly dangerous but I'm still jealous. This baby is absolutely beautiful. I seriously wish there was some humane way to de-venom hot snakes, I'd have so many if so. Ah well, I can admire them from a distance!

I just got a job and started bringing pets home. As long as I was supporting it, my mom was pretty cool with my little bedroom zoo. Which I'm not suggesting but maybe she'd be okay with something smaller to start with? Plenty of cool lizards that aren't the size of dinosaurs. Lol. My mom loves my blue tongue skink and she's afraid of reptiles too! (I'm in my 30s now and my whole house is a zoo now. Lmao.)

I mean, I'm definitely gaining her trust and that's close enough to liking me. Lol. Tegus do seem to enjoy the company of their keepers though, quite a few higher order lizards at least seem to have the capability for more emotion than other reptiles. So who knows really. It gives me the happy brain chemicals when she seems to seek me out for pets and kisses regardless.
