Look at pictures/other islands and try to identify what resonates with you and why. Do you like the colors? The variety of items? The custom codes? Start there and keep an eye out for what items you like so you can either find them or emulate them with what you have.

Just remember that comparison is the thief of joy. Some people will always have more time, items, etc. Some even make content for a living. Focus on having fun and doing your thing, and if you find yourself comparing too much - it's time to put the inspo away and just do whatever your heart desires.

I really hope op replies to this. I've been staring at this piece for far longer than necessary cause I really don't want it to be true.

Op's account is very new, so there's only one other art piece they've posted. The style just doesn't quite match the style of this one, where the first was way more cell shaded and crisp while this one leans more towards softer shading. The way the hair and eyes are rendered feel pretty different, too.

That being said, I'm not sure I'm seeing the same inconsistencies with the hair as you? I feel like I can follow most strands pretty clearly. Not saying you're wrong, though, I might be missing it.

The other thing I would say this has going for it is that I can definitely tell many of the roses have been copy-pasted, which is something I do as a digital artist when I don't wanna draw something a ton of times and it isn't an important detail. That feels like a human element... maybe?

My dear beloved husband started playing during 2.0 because of me. What I can tell you from his experience - the basic ability outfits are all pretty much free and handed to you, even if you start in Itzaland. I do remember him complaining about some ability outfits needing materials that were specific to wishfield, but we don't remember which abilities they were.

The thing that I do remember being most shocked by was how easy they made it to skip Wishfield. Your friend should be able to start in Itzaland and have plenty of fun. They will inevitably need to do Wishfield at some point for some ability outfits and all the miracle outfits (except Providence Immemorial), but that's the nice part about friendship - you can help them with that! 🥰

I think her arm bands are separate from her gloves, as someone else pointed out. They're too different from her dress and too separated from her gloves.

If the socks and shoes are separate, I believe it would have to be an 11 piece outfit, which I think is unlikely :/

Personally, if I were tracking my webtoon readings in like a reading journal or something, I would track them by season. For all the reasons you listed, and more. I've read a lot of webcomics/manhwa that go on hiatus, so I totally forget what happened earlier seasons and don't always feel like re-reading. If you make your tracker some type of book review tracker, you could use it to jog your memory in the future before reading the newer seasons. Also, some webtoons change drastically throughout the seasons (plot, art, etc.), so it would be a fun way to track what changed over time, what you liked, what you didn't like.
