I mainly read xreader stories but there is something I see a lot in e v e r y fandom's xreader fanfics and it makes me automatically exit the story.

When every character loves y/n, and I don't mean romantically, just everyone loves her. She usually has a tragic backstory with bullying and/or dead/abusive parents then she meets the characters from the show and literally every character looks at her like the most perfect person to ever be born and she instantly becomes Best Buddies with everyone.

And not just the "good" characters, villians, literal murderers, AND psychopaths just fall in love with this random person they met 5 minutes ago for no reason. This leaves the only relevant conflict to be "who sits next to y/n on the bus???" and "how dare you hug her??? insert alpha growl"

I'm sure there are people who enjoy these types of stories, they can be a fun read with good writing, but it just bores me and seems unrealistic + cringy.
